By using KaratKaddy, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short.

1. What KaratKaddy Is

KaratKaddy is a personal gold jewellery tracker. It helps you record what you own, track current buyback prices from merchants you choose, and see your collection's estimated value over time.

2. Not Financial Advice

KaratKaddy is not a financial product. The valuations shown in the app are estimates based on merchant buyback prices that you or your chosen merchants provide. They are for personal reference only and do not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. Do not make buying, selling, or investment decisions based solely on figures shown in this app.

We are not licensed financial advisers. For financial decisions, consult a qualified professional.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials secure.
All activity that occurs under your account.
The accuracy of the data you enter (weights, prices, dates, etc.).

You may not share your account, create accounts on behalf of others, or use the service for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

4. Your Content

You own the photos and notes you upload. By uploading content to KaratKaddy, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it to you within the app. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates any third party's rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
Use automated tools to access the API beyond normal app use.
Use the service in any way that violates Malaysian law or applicable international law.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep KaratKaddy running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaratKaddy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to financial loss based on valuations displayed in the app.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
